Jenny’s Canyon
Snow Canyon State Park
A very easy, very well marked trail, right after the southern entrance of Snow Canyon. I have a carrier on me but could have easily held my son through this hike.
We paired it up with the Pioneer Names hike and it was a perfect morning of hiking. The hike itself is about .3 miles long total, and the ending is amazing! You get to see a beautiful slot canyon and can walk all the way to the end of it. There was a pigeon living in it that scared my older son and he wouldn’t go in haha, but it was super cool to explore. There’s a canyon and an overlook. The overlook was easy to climb with kids and had a fun over view of where we just hiked. Definitely need to do this at some point of visiting Snow Canyon.
Just remember, it is a state park and it does require a fee to enter. There is no parking except for in designated areas and this one tends to fill up fast - plan ahead! This trail also does not allow dogs.
To get there: enter in the southern entrance of Snow Canyon State Park. It’s the second small parking pull off on your right (the first one does not have a hike connected and is very small, just FYI). The pictures don’t do justice, it really is amazing! Let me know what you think!
