Dixie “D” on the Hill
📍37.10878° N, 113.59716° W
(Trail starts on 103 N)
It’s D Week at Utah Tech, and we thought it was a great time to hike up to the D on the hill! I’ve never done it before, and it’s been on my things to do list for quite a while.
What to know before you go:
The hike is .2 miles total. Super short, but steep and rocky. It doesn’t take long, but can be tricky for younger kids.
There’s not much up at the top except to see it and to read about it.
It’s fun to do it! To say you’ve hiked it and can show your kids as you’re driving to it is something they’ll remember!
The lights will often change colors! This is done to support the local schools, or a special occasion. This next week it will change to Red for D Week!
⚠️The area is video monitored 24/7, so keep that in mind as you’re there!
Have you hiked it before? How long has it been, or how many times have you?
It was fun to show our kids, I’m sure we’ll do it again!
