Nisson Park
30 S 200 W
NEW AND IMPROVED PLAYGROUND!
Nisson Park is not a new park, but the playground itself is new! We were big fans of this one too!
It’s small, but it all connects. There’s a little bit of climbing, spinning, slides, and a great toddler section for the littles (small, but still a great section). And best of all - SHADE. So much natural shade! The entire park has mature trees (because this park is old!) and they align perfectly with the playground. It’s the perfect playground in the summer!
There’s also a basketball court right next to the playground, as well as a pavilion. There’s tons of grass to play on and a sidewalk around. Millcreek walking trail begins/ends at the park too. If you go down by it, you can walk in the tunnel that goes under the road - which was fun for us to explore.
Riggatis and Red Barn are right across the street. This would be the perfect park to grab some pizza and ice cream to go and eat at the park!
I’ll be honest - I don’t remember at all what the old park looked like. The only time I’ve been here was in college and obviously didn’t play on the playground 😅 So you tell me - good upgrade or did you like the old one more? My boys had a blast! It was a perfect size and a lot of fun!
(More to come on the wheel and why it’s there. Be ready for some FUN things ahead 🤗)
