Mayor's Loop

Mayor’s Loop

My most favorite walking/jogging/bike path in St George! This 5 mile loop allows you to get out and explore and see so much in such a short distance. There are so many spots to park and walk around, or do the whole loop and go back. It connects to other paths that take you to Bloomington Park or up by the Riverwalk by the Virgin River.

Two of the most popular spots to start are at Crosby Confluence Park by the Dixie Center (location marked above) or St James Park on the other side off of River Road. But there are several listed on the map I’ve posted (last picture).

I’ve seen so many people ride scooters, roller skate, bike, walk, run, you name it. It’s beautiful in all seasons and you can do it all in one day or break it up into several.

There are spots that are really well shaded and others not so much, so use caution when going if it’s warmer out. You can also go down by the river in some areas and play with rocks, sticks and sand.

St James Park has a huge field that I’ve seen people fly kites on or have picnics. It has incredible views as well!

By far my favorite jogging path! I’ve been going on this one for years!

**Challenge** can you find the skull rock?? Tag me if you do!
