Cottonwood Cove Park

We love this park!! It is perfect for every age and has such a variety of things to do!

This is also an excellent replacement for Thunder Junction if you feel overwhelmed and it’s way too crowded! This park stays pretty quiet for the most part, so it’s a lot calmer of a park if you need it.

There’s a big kid section and toddler section. The toddler section is very well shaded, the kid section not so much. But there are trees around and a pavilion right by it, so it’s an easy escape into the shade if needed.

A section of it is a climbing wall that is designed to feel like you’re actually rock climbing. Super fun for older kids to do!

Theres a trail that runs by it and weaves around. It’s a great place to bring bikes/strollers to go for a fun walk and then play.

Up top by the parking lot, there’s a volleyball court, porch type swings, restrooms, and another pavilion.

A fun bonus for this time of year - we came here with @stg_local and our boys found FIFTEEN caterpillars climbing all over the park and on the trees! They were in heaven! They made sure the kids playing after took care of them before we left 😆

I knew this park for so long as the “spinning park” - anyone else? They’ve gotten rid of a few of the spinning equipment (I feel like there was way more before), but just enough still there to make me remember it!

I’d love to hear what you think of this one! Go have some fun!
